Born in Dumas, TX, raised in Springfield, CO and now residing in Alamosa, CO.

I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, husband to my wonderful wife Jenna, and father to my young son, Charles, and daughter, Charlotte. 

I like to think of myself as an modern Renaissance Man – I’m competent in working with my hands but I also like to engage my mind. I love theology, philosophy, and the Western intellectual tradition. I enjoy various trades in the construction world and I like creating things from raw materials. Lately, I’ve had a passion for thinking about and implementing ways to make my household productive, economically and generally, so that we can be durable and resilient in these times and times to come.

I also love to read, write, get outside, mountain bike, fly fish, snowboard, journal, swing kettlebells, drink coffee, woodwork, listen to 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s music, hangout with friends, and be involved in my community.  I’m I do all this stuff with my wife, children by my side.
